For the last eight years, Ive been involved with the Maple Valley Creative Arts Council, first as a producer for the now defunct Maple Valley Digital Film Festival (2006), then continued on with their Arts Festival last June. In 2007, in addition to helping produce that festival again, and showing work in the main exhibition, I was the director of a 3D Animation & Digital Art Expo within it, with the help of Terry Hopfenspirger, an exceptionally talented young animator, who is, along with Steve Johnson, one of the 3D animators being featured this year.

In our 3rd Fall Edition of the expo, we showcased Seattle Art Institute student Duncan Kilgour Carey, Tahoma High School Art Student's & MVCAC member's work, including mine, and some guest artists to be determined. When the expo became its own event separate from the Arts Festival, I revived my Isosceles Productions after many years to produce the event myself, with the help of my participating artists. I created this company to produce a video awards show at 911 Media Arts in Seattle, 1993.

I have been producing festivals since 1983, when I went on a European tour with the Chicago City Ballet as an assistant to the tour manager and the liaison between the French crew and American company (since I'm fluent in French).

I moved to Telluride, Colorado to work on their film festival in 1988 and spent 2 years working on that and every other festival there: Jazz, Bluegrass, Mountainfilm, Balloonfest, et al! I was also appointed to serve on the 5-member Commission on Arts & Special Events, a branch of local govenment, where we controlled a 450k budget. I also served on several boards of directors, wrote successful grants and attended regional arts events as an envoy.

Since moving to Seattle in 1992, I have worked on numerous festivals, including Bumbershoot & WOMAD, among others, and served on the board of Arts Ballard and was a producer of their ArtsFeast in 1999 & 2000.
